Friends, I hope you’re feeling the beautiful shift that September brings. There’s something about this time of year that invites us to slow down, reconnect, and make a little more space for ourselves. Yup. feeling those #backtoschoolvibes. (and lest the teenagers protest, yes, I’m very aware using hashtags is so 2016.)
Just wanted to share that a few members of the Westchester Wellness Guide community are offering special experiences this month—from energy healing and yoga to a day devoted entirely to nourishment and self-care, in case you’re finding yourself in need of a little extra wellness (translation: sanity) boost.
Here’s what’s happening this September:

What if, for one full day, you were the person you took care of? Nourish & Bloom is an invitation to step out of your usual role and spend a day moving, creating, connecting, eating well, laughing, and making space for yourself. Set at beautiful Caramoor, it’s a full day devoted to nourishment, connection, and coming back to yourself.
On a personal note… I just have to share that I’ve had a chance to participate in this event last year and all I can say is that it shifted my energy completely. I couldn’t believe that was possible in just one day. And I made such amazing friends. Here’s a little gallery of photos of the experience. It was truly moving.

And if You’re Feeling Pulled to Travel...
Experience A Journey That Gives Back
For longtime Westchester resident Lauren Cohen, a life-changing trip to South Africa in 2006 inspired her to found The Gift of Hope USA, supporting women and children affected by HIV. Today, she’s partnered with World of ORYX to create a beautiful way to combine your own wellbeing with giving back. ORYX designs purposeful journeys around the world, and when you book through The Gift of Hope, 5% of your trip is donated to support mothers and children in South Africa. So if you’re feeling called to a meaningful adventure, you can do something wonderful for yourself—and help create a healthier, more hopeful future for a mother and child along the way.
